World of Warcraft Upgrades and Item Upgrading
Upgrades can boost the value of certain numeric statistics on armor, weapons and rings. Upgrades also increase bonuses such as Crit chance and PvE Damage.
If the weapon's upgrade template is in %, the weapon will gain 3% of its previous attack damage each time it is upgraded.
The cost of upgrading an item is determined by the item's level. The cost increases as the item level rises.
Components
Upgrade components are items that can be slotted into armor, weapons, and trinkets to give an additional stat boost or effect when they're used. These can be obtained through crafting, purchasing from vendors, trading or looting. Some upgrades have special cosmetic effects.
Upgrade components are only available to equipment with a slot. The item must be at least upgraded to blue before the component can be applied. Like other mods, upgrade components can only be used once; they can't be used multiple times or replaced by new upgrades. Infusions and enrichments are a type of upgrade component that can be used to upgrade non-amulet legendary or Ascended equipment, as well as some non-ascended items. Infusions and enrichments can be obtained by salvaging equipment from the ascended state or by completing a mission within the Prophecies, Factions, and Nightfall campaigns.
An upgrade can include a suffix or prefix that alters the name of the equipment with which it is used (for instancethe "Canthan Armor Insignia" becomes Canthan Armor of Minor Vigor). Some upgrades increase the Mark Rarity or Level of an item, which lets players to create stronger versions using less Upgrade crystals than they need to reach the same level using standard methods.
A boost upgrade can alter the defense or attack attributes of a weapon or armor. Once the player has completed the cutscene and defeated Crazed Mechanist These upgrades can be crafted at the Portative Forging Station. They can also be dropped by enemies while upgrading other gear, or by purchasing them in the cash shop for 500 upgrade crystals per.
The player is able to have the maximum of five boost upgrades at one time. Each upgrade increases the probability that a higher-level version of the item will be available during the next reset. This gives players an incentive to upgrade their gear even in the event that they don't know how much it will be improved after an update.
Whether a boost upgrade is successful or not, the process can be costly and there is a high possibility that the item will become obsolete or even break when it fails; a failed upgrade will destroy the Upgrade Crystals and Assist Powder as well as the upgraded item. Cash shop items can be used to reduce or eliminate the possibility of failure. Certain upgrades also provide an additional bonus when they are reinserted.
Glyphs
Glyphs are upgrade components that can be placed in special sockets on the Paragon Board. Glyphs can boost the performance of nodes within a radius, which includes any existing affixes. Glyphs are upgraded in many ways. We suggest upgrading them as soon as possible to level 15.
It is commonplace to see in the final game that placing Glyphs is the most effective method to upgrade your gear. They are the only upgrade component which can be upgraded to level 15 and give significant boosts to your power on the Paragon Board.
Most of the upgrades in the game can be replaced but Glyphs are the only upgrade component that can be removed and put back in place without any restrictions. The only exception is legendary equipment, which requires the use of a Black Lion Salvage Kit to salvage and re-place.
The value of each Glyph is displayed when you select it from your inventory. You can replace it with another Glyph that is the same or higher rank to boost the value of the Glyph.
Glyphs are available in the Black Lion Trading Post as part of an Gem Store bundle or purchase them with certain tools that are unlimited in use, and during Faction Crypt Raids. Every Faction Crypt will drop one of these Glyphs. There are some rare glyphs you can find in any of the Faction Crypts.
Once you have gotten the desired Glyphs you will require them to be put on your gear. Each Glyph unlocks a unique bonus that will boost the stats of a specific set of nodes in the vicinity of the Glyph. It can be +40 for one of your primary stats or +25 for two of your secondary stats depending on the Glyph.
Glyphs will increase the number of nodes connected to them, therefore it is recommended to place Glyphs in strategic places on the Graph. This will increase the impact. For example that a Druid should try to place their Glyphs near their primary damage nodes, but also consider placing them near critical damage nodes too.
Leveling
The system of upgrading items lets players increase the performance of specific items by putting upgraded components inside them. This is commonly known as "upping". Each upgradeable item has an amount, which determines its final upgraded stats. Upgraded items can be leveled up to a maximum level of 385. Each level requires a different amount of components to reach and the costs for upgrading increase as the item is advanced in level.
Some upgrades require an ingredient to be activated. This ingredient can be obtained by finishing Upgrade Recipes. These recipes can be purchased from NPCs or on the upgrade tab of crafting tables. Each Upgrade Recipe that is completed results in a certain amount of Technology points. These points can be used to upgrade the item, and when enough points are earned, the upgrade can be claimed and any additional bonuses will be added to the item.
When an individual player upgrades an item, the base item will be replaced by an item that is new. This means that the same armor piece will become the form of a shield or weapon when upgraded. The new item also has its own bonus. item upgrader could be a problem, as it can make the item more expensive, even if you don't require it.
If the player has enough tokens, they can roll the upgrade of their item. This will cause the item to be exchanged for a brand new one, with a level 1 base and a completely different set of extra bonuses. This is a good option for some items, but it's not something that should be repeated often, as it can use up lots of resources.
Some upgrades can increase their value and allow players to modify their gear. Dolphin's Gift is a good example, as it provides an increase in power if the player is repeatedly in or exits the water. Requirements

Additionally the item will lose any bonuses it gained, including crit chance and attack damage, and all additional effects associated with the effect (for example, increased heal over time or reload speed). The player will be able to use their weapon or armor after the failure.
When an item is upgraded, the upgrades are applied from the lowest to the highest. This means that should a weapon gain an increase in the chance of crit the increase is applied prior to any increase in attack damage. A new attribute known as Slots is now added to the definition of the item and the value is recomputed each time an upgrade is applied.
The amount of resources required to upgrade an item is based on its rarity rating and the number of upgrade slots. The cost of upgrading non-premium equipment is equal to the value of the base item. For instance, a common item might have five upgrades at a cost of. 25600 Technology Points 4x Quality Improvement Chance. Hero quality items are less expensive per upgrade.
Premium items have different requirements for upgrading in comparison to standard equipment. For instance, they may require fewer sowels, but they will require more minerals and erons. Players will still have to carry every piece of gear they want to upgrade to the NPC [Armor] Boboko located in Central Flarine. Each equipment upgrade requires different amounts of the upgrade ingredients in addition to the cost mentioned above.
